Directory

Ouyen provides a comprehensive range of essential services and amenities. These include a supermarket, hardware store, pharmacy, as well as clothing, giftware and opportunity shops. The town also offers a variety of dining options, including cafés, takeaway outlets and licensed venues.

A broad selection of skilled trades is available locally, including plumbing, electrical, building, welding and carpentry services. In addition, a wide range of other services is offered, from cleaning and gardening to catering and embroidery. As some providers operate without a physical shopfront, residents and visitors are encouraged to contact Ouyen Inc or the Neighbourhood House for assistance in locating the appropriate service.

Participation in local clubs and committees provides an excellent opportunity to build connections and engage with Ouyen’s strong community spirit. A selection of local organisations and groups available within Ouyen is outlined below.

For community updates and event information, individuals are encouraged to join the Facebook group “Ouyen and District Community Noticeboard and Events Page”, where many organisations share regular updates. Should assistance be required in contacting local groups, support is available through the Neighbourhood House, Mildura Rural City Council offices, or the Ouyen Inc committee.

A non-exhaustive list is provided below.
